Automated Functionality

Some functionality within the Continuum GRC ITAM system are automated. This functionality does not require any configuration by the system administrators.

While this list is not exhaustive, these features deserve a specific detailing here to help understand the purpose and understanding which is helpful to Users, Examiners, and Administrators alike.

  • Status Indicators - Status Change Indicators
    During the audit and assessment process, it is important for examiners to identify changes to control responses that occur especially when a control has been moved into a compliant Green Status. When a form or module has not currently been placed into Audit Mode, the possibility for Users, Examiners, and Administrators to make changes.

    For example, in this image, notice the Green Status indicator associated with the control response.

 

Following a change that could have been made by any Users, Examiners, and Administrators, in this example, the word Example: was deleted, and the Status Indicator automatically changed to a Yellow Status.

 

The importance of this feature is to primarily to signal to the Examiner or Administrator that a change has occurred to a completed, compliant Green Status item and now requires a review.
