Process Maintenance

There are several schedule-driven processes such as auto suspending of accounts and the auto-deletion of forms that have been removed by an administrator. While there is typically nothing that ITAM subscribers need to do to facilitate this process there are times when refreshing one of these automated functions can accelerate the associated process. For this reason, the management page does exist.

Browse to https://[your instance name].auditmachine.com/auditprotocol/manage_cron.php to view the scheduled processes. These automated functions may be refreshed by clicking the applicable process name links which will accelerate in some instances the process.

The IT Audit Machine allows you to delete forms you no longer want. Doing so is as simple as selecting your form and clicking on the delete tab. As a quality control measure you will be required to confirm that you do indeed want the form deleted with a pop-up message like this:

Once you confirm your form deletion, you are done.

In the event that you change your mind and would like to undelete the form, you have approximately 30 days before the form is permanently removed from the system. To find this recycle bin feature, set your browser to the URL resembling this: https://[Your Instance Name Here].auditmachine.com/auditprotocol/recycle.php

Clicking on the name of a deleted form will show the Undelete tab.

Once you click on the Undelete tab and confirm you want to so, the form will then be placed back into the ITAM Form Manager.

Report Palette

Each question field has the capability to easily put a risk or weighted score assigned to each response. Each score has a color assigned to it so when you generate a report, the associated score will get a color assigned to it. For every 10 points, a new color is assigned with a range between 0 through 999 producing 100 color combinations.

Here is the color palette used for scoring from green to red.

This concludes the Administrative Guide for ITAM. Feel free to review any section by using the menu at the bottom of the page.
