The My Profile page contains the account information and is where you go to maintain things like profile information, passwords, MFA settings, and other related information.

In this section, we will look at the My Profile portion of the application and examine the information which can be viewed and maintained from that interface. We will also discuss some of the security options which can be configured and other functionality which can only be accessed from this area.

My Profile View

The My Profile page is accessed by clicking on the Examiner’s name in the top left corner of the screen. This will bring down a secondary navigation screen. The top menu item in the secondary navigation is a link to the My Profile page.

The My Profile page consists of a section on the left with a profile picture and the user's name above a menu for navigating the available pages in the My Profile. The profile picture defaults to the ITAM gear icon but can be replaced by clicking on the icon which will open an upload file selector on your system.

When you access the My Profile section from the main menu it will bring you to the Personal Info screen. There are six (6) different pages available from the local menu on the left of the screen.

To view the password you are typing, click on the eye icon at the edge of the field. To hide it again, click on the icon a second time.

Reset MFA

Clicking on the Reset MFA button will bring you to a screen that will confirm you want to reset the Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).

Clicking on the Reset MFA button on the confirmation page will mark your MFA as no longer active and send you back to the login screen. Once you log in you will be prompted to set up your MFA again.

ITAM comes with two options for setting MFA. Option 1 involves using an Open Authenticator mobile app. Option 2 involves setting up ITAM to send an email with a login code. Option 1 is the recommended approach.

Option 1

As noted in the instructions on the screen for MFA, the user will install an Open Authenticator app (if not already installed) and then scan the QR code using the app and then enter the 6-digit security code presented and click the Verify Code button

Option 2

This option involves registering an email address at which you will receive one-time codes during the login process.

You are given a number of options when viewing your own activity. You can view an audit log of your activity by clicking on the Audit Log button, view a log of your Uploaded files by clicking on the Uploaded Files Document Log button, and view a log of your user sessions by clicking on the User Session Log. Regardless of which log you are viewing, you can download a copy of the information by clicking the Save as CSV, Save as Excel, and Save as PDF buttons, depending on the format in which you desire the data.

Other Settings

The other settings section of My Profile displays information about your user account and allows you to create a Digital Signature.

Digital Signature

Digital signatures are used when interacting with Signature fields on forms. There are three options for Digital Signatures.

Type

A Typed digital signature is simply typing in the name you want to be displayed in the digital signature form.

Draw

A drawn digital signature is a freeform drawing that can be accomplished with a mouse or on some devices with a digital pen or stylus. To create a signature with a mouse, move the cursor over the drawing field to the position you want to start drawing your signature, hold down the left button and draw your signature. You may let go and reposition your mouse to draw additional unconnected sections of your drawn signature (e.g. First and Last Name). Click the Save Changes button to accept the signature. Click the Clear link to clear the signature and try again.

Image

ITAM also allows the use of an already created image to stand in as your signature. If you select the Image option and click the Choose File button it will open a file selection interface on your device allowing you to select the image to use as a digital signature. Once you have selected the file you wish to use click the Save Changes button to associate it with your digital signature.
